Celebrate Halloween While Supporting Downtown.
Each October, Downtown Trick or Treat & Parade transforms Port Townsend’s historic downtown into a lively, kid-friendly celebration. Families gather in costume as we kick off the afternoon with a festive parade, then head out to trick or treat with local businesses throughout downtown.
This free, all-ages event creates a safe and welcoming way for families to celebrate Halloween while supporting downtown businesses during the fall season.
2026 Downtown Trick or Treat and Parade

Get your costumes ready for Port Townsend Main Street’s Annual Downtown Trick or Treat & Parade! Children of all ages and their families are invited to join the fun!
Meet us at 3:45 PM in front of 1st Security Bank (corner of Water & Adams Streets). The parade kicks off at 4 PM, followed by trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses!
All Hallow’s Feed – Treats for Everyone!
KALMA is bringing back All Hallow’s Feed, a community tradition that makes trick-or-treating a little sweeter and more nourishing! Throughout October, KALMA is collecting donations of grocery funds, healthy snacks, and pantry staples to distribute during downtown trick-or-treating. Adults are encouraged to join in, too!
Help spread the magic by dropping off donations at KALMA’s storefront at 821 Washington St. throughout October.
