On summer evenings in July in August, the Port Townsend waterfront fills with music, laughter, and neighbors coming together. Concerts on the Dock is a beloved tradition—free, all-ages live music every Thursday in July and August that brings our community and visitors together to celebrate summer by the sea.

Nyby:
Fronted by Port Townsend’s own Josh Nyby, this ever-evolving lineup delivers high-energy rock with a local edge. Known for tight musicianship and a dynamic live presence, Nyby blends classic influences with original grit—perfect for kicking off a summer evening on the dock.
Marco Marco:
Marco Marco brings a fresh, indie rock sound straight out of Port Townsend’s creative scene. With catchy hooks, layered instrumentation, and a laid-back coastal vibe, their sets feel both intimate and electric—ideal for swaying, dancing, and soaking in the sunset.

The Kimball Superstars
Hailing from Tacoma, The Kimball Superstars serve up boot-stomping country with a modern twist. Their lively shows mix classic country storytelling with upbeat rhythms that get crowds moving—whether you’re two-stepping or just toe-tapping along.

The Backwoods Hucksters
Led by the decades-long musical partnership of Cort Armstrong and Sean Divine, The Backwoods Hucksters channel the spirit of Appalachian country blues, bluegrass, and old-time stringband traditions—while weaving in modern influences like the Grateful Dead and Armstrong’s original songwriting. Their tight harmonies and improvisational jams create a sound that’s both timeless and full of life, bringing a little twang, a little soul, and a whole lot of magic to the dock.

Call for Food Vendors!
Port Townsend Main Street is now accepting applications for food vendors at Concerts on the Dock, our popular 8-week summer concert series held Thursday evenings in July and August. These free waterfront concerts draw a lively crowd each week, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere for vendors.
Items that are quick, handheld, and easy to enjoy during the show tend to do best at this event.
