Summer evenings on the Port Townsend waterfront are about to get a whole lot livelier. Port Townsend Main Street is excited to announce the return of Concerts on the Dock, the community's beloved free summer concert series held Thursday evenings at Pope Marine Park throughout July and August.
Now in its 22nd season, Concerts on the Dock brings together locals and visitors alike for an unforgettable mix of live music, dancing, food, drinks, and community—all set against the stunning backdrop of Port Townsend Bay.
The series runs every Thursday from July 9 through August 27, with the venue opening at 4:30 p.m. and music from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
"Concerts on the Dock is a treasured Port Townsend summer event," said Natalie Maitland, Executive Director of the Port Townsend Main Street. "We’ve made some enhancements to our layout this year to provide more all ages space near the stage while still having ample space in the beer garden area. We’ve got a great lineup of artists and are working to make sure we can welcome a multi-generational audience to the dock to experience the concerts.”
This year in partnership with Jefferson Transit, people who ride the Route 11 bus between 3:30pm - 5pm will receive an entry into our concert giveaway. You need to drop ticket off at the info booth to enter the drawing. Riding the bus is easy, comes every 20 minutes, and is a great way to get downtown.

Proceeds from beverage sales and sponsorships help support Main Street's work preserving and enhancing Port Townsend's historic business districts through continuing to produce free community events, beautification projects, business support programs, and tourism promotion throughout the year.
The 2026 Concerts on the Dock series is presented by the Port Townsend Main Street Program and Homer Smith Insurance.
