The Taste of Port Townsend took place on the evening of Thursday, June 6th and it was attended by a capacity crowd. There were only six tickets left to sell at the door. 200 guests enjoyed delicious tastes from 20 local restaurants, breweries, wineries and cideries, as well as coffee and tea. A rainbow splashed across the sky during the event at the Northwest Maritime Center.

This year’s participants were Key City Fish Co., Alchemy Bistro and Wine Bar, Aldrich’s Market, The Castle in PT, Howell’s Sandwich Co., Pane d’ Amore, Banana Leaf Thai Bistro, Elevated Ice Cream Co. & Candy Shop, The Silverwater Café, The Old Whiskey Mill, Taps at the Guardhouse, Reveille at the Commons, Alpenfire Cider, Finnriver Farm and Cidery, Marrowstone Vineyards, Port Townsend Brewing Co., Port Townsend Vineyards, Sunrise Coffee Co., The Spice and Tea Exchange, and Discovery Bay Brewing.

The flowers at the event were provided by Willow Wind Farm & Gardens and added a pretty touch of the countryside.

Fifty guests purchased raffle tickets in support of the event. This year’s event had a more green focus, and reusable glasses and silverware were used. The Port Townsend Main Street Program is grateful for the generous participation of all the restaurants owners and artisan beverage-makers who contributed to this very special evening in support of the Port Townsend Main Street Program. Main Street thanks its event staff, dedicated volunteers, Kevin Prime Photography, Deja Webster of Deja View Photography, Safeway, and The Lively Olive Tasting Bar. Special thanks to the Old Whiskey Mill and Alchemy Bistro and Wine Bar for event support. The event was sponsored by Sysco—at the Heart of Food and Service, and Key City Fish Company.
